Director of Business Development

OmniTI is looking for a Director of Business Development to lead and execute our growth strategy.

The Director of Business Development will own strategy as well as execution with a primary focus on bringing in new business opportunities, managing incoming leads, facilitating sales, and participating in marketing projects to support our sales needs. This role will be a part of the leadership team and will require availability for periodic weekday business related travels for networking and/or relationship building purposes.

About The Job

  • Grow annual revenue by planning, directing, and setting the strategic direction of the sales program throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Plans and prioritizes sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving business goals, including margins and sales dollars
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing technology and work with the executive team to develop strategies to penetrate those accounts
  • Manage CRM software and advise management of progress on execution of sales and marketing initiatives
  • Guiding clients to hit commitments and deadlines and ASK for the business
  • Keep opportunity focus on customers that fit our business model and have agreed upon potential revenues
  • Grow with the knowledge of our service mix/company and assists in improving the company pitch
  • Respond to and follow up on sales RFQ / RFPs
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • You will be responsible for finding and selling to new clients

Requirements & Education

  • Proven experience in technology consulting and/or professional services sales in a B2B environment
  • Experience working in a small company / start-up like environment, comfortable operating "without a map"
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud partner program a plus
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Close.io, or similar a plus
