Keith served in the U.S. Air Force and then moved between computer programming and system administration, as well as computer repair. He was drawn to the development world, with a lasting interest in databases and open source projects. However, he missed the personal service in fixing people's computers and helping the technologically challenged, so he started his own repair company. Keith considers himself to be an IT jack-of-all-trades.
It's nice to now be part of a team that exposes me to larger challenges and allows me to specialize more in a field I've always been interested in.
One of my favorite quotes that sums up why I really enjoy what I do. . ."If you've never programmed a computer, you should. There's nothing like it in the whole world. When you program a computer, it does exactly what you tell it to do. It's like designing a machine - any machine, like a car, like a faucet, like a gas-hinge for a door - using math and instructions. It's awesome in the truest sense: it can fill you with awe."
