We're very happy to announce today the appointment of Robert Treat as our new CEO. Robert will replace Theo Schlossnagle, who founded OmniTI more than 15 years ago. Theo will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board, and will take the position of Engineering Fellow within the company, providing strategic guidance for our engineers and clients.
I've always felt that OmniTI was an amazing place to work. The intersection of challenging problems and opportunities to learn--while making a real difference for our clients--all within an engineering focused company, is a rare thing in our industry and especially for a consultancy. I'm very excited to take that vision and drive it forward into new areas and opportunities.

Robert has been COO for the past two years, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company, including aspects of sales, marketing and services execution. Prior to that, he led the database services team, growing that business from scratch to more than $1 million in annual revenue.
Theo will continue as CEO of Circonus, the monitoring and analytics company that was spun out of OmniTI in 2010.
Robert has done a great job managing the operational aspects of the company. I'm excited at the opportunities for both OmniTI and Circonus in 2014, and beyond.
