As Art Director at OmniTI, Miguel applies his varied artistic ability, to every project; an ability which stems from forays into studio and digital illustration, painting, video effects editing, print design, and animation. He prides himself on his expertise across multiple creative platforms, however, he is always willing to expand his knowledge of anything and everything creative one can do with a computer.
Miguel believes that with the web being the varied medium that it is, he has a unique opportunity to shape a user’s experience through various methods (both scientific and artistic). As user interface design lead, he focuses on creating usable and accessible, standards driven designs, that maintain a clean aesthetic appeal.
When I’m not making the interweb look “purdy,” I enjoy cooking, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, Pubs, BBQs, festivals, and basically anything with food involved, movies, sports (playing and watching {GO VIKES!}), practicing martial arts, traveling, music, art, and playing outside.

- I have 2 black belts, one of which is in Ninjutsu (yes, making me a ninja).
- I was nationally ranked in the Men’s 55m dash in high school.
- I am surprisingly good at trivia, especially “Miguel Trivia.”
- As you can see, I can fit half a grapefruit in my mouth.
