David Gray is a Software Engineer for OmniTI. He enjoys working on complex systems utilizing a wide range of technologies. David grew up on programming languages beginning with P and will always have a special place in his heart for Perl, because it's easier than C.
Prior to joining OmniTI, he worked for a UK-based digital publishing company, manipulating and paginating large amounts of XML and SGML data with their commercial software product, developing generic solutions to solve workflow problems, and spreading his programming expertise among his more publishing-oriented colleagues.
I live in Colorado, in what they call "South Boulder", which is hilarious since you can bike across the entire town in 20 minutes. When I'm not skiing or rock climbing, I enjoy the tasty local adult beverages, watching movies on my big screen, and playing with power tools. Usually not at the same time. I also enjoy my job and other geeky pursuits such as video games and arguing about which super-heroes/villains could beat each other up (Galactus vs. Apocalypse).
