Charlie Fiskeaux II ~ User Interface Engineer

Charlie

Charlie graduated from Asbury University with a B.A. in Art, and after working with a small marketing communications agency for almost a decade, joined OmniTI in April, 2010. Driven by his desire for excellence that gives meticulous attention to everything he does, Charlie enjoys the challenge of doing things the right way, not the quick way. Along with his unusually absorbent brain, these traits serve him well as he focuses on merging form and function, ensuring that applications are intuitive and accessible across all platforms and users.

“If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”

Personal Note

I’m a husband/father/web designer/Star Trek junkie and I have pretty broad tastes. As long as I can remember, I've always been balanced between the two sides of everything: I can see both sides of any argument; I'm both a designer with an art degree and a developer working with (X)HTML/CSS/JS/PHP; and I love all genres of music‚ — progressive metal, bluegrass, jazz, modern rock, a cappella, folk, soul, country, classic rock, gospel, barbershop and even “Weird Al” Yankovic‚ — who sings all of the above. When I'm not making websites, I love watching movies and reading (fantasy or history, mostly), and one of my life goals is to write the next great fantasy novel. I have a fabulous wife, Hilary and two awesome sons, Caspian and Perrin.
