Brian Vaughn ~ Vice President of Business Development

Brian brings to OmniTI more than 15 years of management experience in the information technology industry. As our VP of Business Development, he manages our partner affiliations and strives to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Prior to joining OmniTI in April 2007, Brian co-founded and managed Dataprise, Inc., a leading computer network support and managed services provider. As the company’s principal and executive vice president, he managed the operations, sales, and marketing divisions and helped build Dataprise into one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

Outside the workplace, Brian has applied his leadership and seasoned expertise to a variety of community and industry endeavors. In addition to having served as an ad-hoc faculty member for the Washington D.C. Bar Association, he’s an active board member of the Information Technology Foundation, Inc., a non-profit that promotes hands-on IT career training for high school students in the Montgomery County Public School system.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park’s Government and Politics Department.

Personal Note

When not growing OmniTI’s revenue, I spend a good deal of my spare time with my wife Karen and my daughter Sarah. As an avid sportsman, I also spend my spare time wrestling and playing golf, soccer, and basketball. Secondary hobbies include politics, science fiction, playing guitar, and singing (as much it pains those around me!).
