When the guy who started Netscape and brought images to the Web comes to you looking for security help, you donʼt say no.
We first knew Ning as 24 Hour Laundry, a stealth startup seeking to revolutionize social networking by letting users create their own social apps. Of course, such a bold idea yields some unique security challenges, particularly when users can write and execute their own programming code.
Our work with Ning was very collaborative in nature, and together we created an environment that met Ningʼs radical business objectives while still keeping its users safe. Since launching in 2005, Ning has helped regular people create hundreds of thousands of social apps, and they have shown no signs of slowing down. Weʼre proud to have been there at the start of their exciting journey.
